Sparklyn Account & Data Deletion of Sparklyn Cleaning Limited
If you have an account with the Sparklyn cleaning app and would like to delete your account and associated personal data, you can request account deletion using the method below.
How to request account deletion
Please send an account deletion request using the contact details below.
Email: info@sparklyncleaning.co.uk or booking@sparklyncleaning.co.uk
Please send the request from the email address registered with your Sparklyn account and include:
Your full name
The email address registered with your Sparklyn account
Whether you are a customer or cleaner
A clear statement that you want your Sparklyn account and associated data deleted
You do not need to reinstall the Sparklyn app to make a deletion request.
What happens when you request deletion
After we receive and verify your request, Sparklyn Cleaning Limited will process the deletion of your account and associated personal data.
Depending on the information associated with your account, this may include:
Account and profile information
Email address and other contact information
Saved service addresses
Booking-related information associated with your account
User-uploaded profile or service-related images, where applicable
Authentication information associated with your account
Other personal information associated with your Sparklyn account
Information that may be retained
Some information may need to be retained where required or permitted by law, or where reasonably necessary for legitimate purposes such as fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, accounting, tax or legal compliance.
Where information must be retained, it will be retained only for the period required for the applicable purpose and will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Account deactivation
Deactivating or disabling an account is different from deleting an account. If you request deletion, Sparklyn will process the request as an account deletion request rather than simply disabling or freezing the account.
